We supply all the tiles, racks, and reference cards. You don't need to bring anything but yourself.

Light Refreshments

Coffee, tea, sparkling water, and snacks throughout the night. BYOB welcome — just no glass at the table.

Small group teaching with Dana and a co-teacher on busy nights. We meet you where you are — beginner to seasoned.

Things people ask.

I've never played mahjong. Is this for me?
Absolutely. The first-Friday classes each month are beginner-focused, and we always set you up at a table that matches your level. You'll be playing real hands by the end of the night.
What kind of mahjong do you teach?
American Mahjong primarily, with some occasional nights focused on Chinese-style play. The schedule will note which version each class covers.
Can I come alone, or do I need to bring a group?
Come alone. Most people do. We seat tables based on skill level and pace, and you'll meet three new friends within the first ten minutes.
What's the cancellation policy?
Full refund up to 48 hours before the class. After that, we offer credit toward a future class. Spots are limited so we appreciate the early notice.
Do you do private parties or group bookings?
Yes — birthday parties, bridal showers, corporate teams, you name it. Reach out through the contact page and we'll work something up.
Where exactly is the class held?
The full address is sent in your confirmation email after booking. We're in Layton, just off I-15 with easy parking.
